Heber / Overgaard The most beautiful place on the earth ![]() The magnificent Mogollon Rim country of Arizona was the perfect hiding place for what we now call Heber - Overgaard. Heber and Overgaard have become a place for summer and winter tourism, with retirement communities perfect for people who enjoy a slower lifestyle. Elk, deer and wild turkey are abundant with an occasional sighting of a bear, wolf or mountain lion. The cool summers draw many people to the surrounding lakes for fishing, boating, camping, and hunting along with many other summer activities in the area.
